Inception Meeting of GUIDANCE Project Held in Naria

On May 29, 2025, the inception meeting of the GUIDANCE Project was held in Naria Upazila Conference Room, led by Naria Unnayan Samity (NUSA) and implemented in collaboration with the Village Education Resource Center (VERC), Development Organisation for Rural People (DORP), and Alokito Kori Trust, with financial and technical support from GFA Consulting Group GmbH (Germany) under the Citizenship Programme, funded by the governments of Switzerland and Canada.

 

NUSA’s Executive Director and valiant freedom fighter, Majeda Shawkat Ali, presided over the meeting. The chief guest at the meeting was Naria Upazila’s Honorable Nirbahi Officer (UNO), Mr. Aminul Islam Bulbul.

 

Other distinguished guests present at the meeting included the Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer, Officer-in-Charge of Naria Police Station, Upazila Primary and Secondary Education Officer, Women’s Affairs Officer, Social Services Officer, Youth Development Officer, ICT Programmer (Upazila ICT Officer), Information Officer, Public Health Engineer, Union Chairmen, journalists, representatives from NGOs, and members of civil society. All the distinguished participants contributed their valuable opinions and suggestions regarding the GUIDANCE Project during the meeting.
