Activity details
As per the plan, 425 members will be trained on breastfeeding, pregnancy and postpartum care, nutritious food, health and birth control.
Learning Lessons of the Activity
- Achieve SDG targets, reduce poverty and reduce maternal and child mortality.
- Increase the rate of breastfeeding, provide food and nutrition support
- Provide training on maternal and child health awareness, hygiene, nutrition, etc.
- Provide training to women in income generating activities.
Achievements
- The first year mothers and children have been given training on health awareness, hygiene, food nutrition etc.
- Health camps in Naria municipality have provided medical treatment to mothers and children and some health kits.
- Awareness meetings have been held to stop child marriage and the campaign is continuing.
